The Pak Weep area of Khao Lak (also referred to as Pakweep or Pak Weeb), is usually defined as stretching from the northern side of Cape Pakarang, to Pak Weep Beach which lies at the end of the beach road. There is, however, some overlap between what may be considered the Pak Weep area and the Cape Pakarang area, especially when referring to the addresses given by the managements of hotels and resorts along the coastline. Pak Weep Beach itself is well known for the many corals and shells that wash up overnight onto the shore.
There are a few major hotels and resorts along the beach road itself, such as the Mai Khao Lak Beach Resort & Spa, and Beyond Resort Khaolak, as well as several bungalow-style resorts. Both of the large resorts are well-established holiday destinations, and are near several bars and cafes. Amongst these are Freshy Bar, Ma Ma Mr Lek, the Sharky Restaurant & Bar, and the Boom Boom Restaurant & Bar.
The 500 meters stretch of Pak Weep beach overlooking the Andaman Sea is picturesque, and it is worth walking along the beach road in a leisurely fashion to enjoy the peace and serenity it affords.
