This Resort has a good and friendly staff who attend to people using clear communication skills. The Wi-Fi is not great, but other than that, it’s absolutely fabulous! The pools are very clean and there is a big Jacuzzi near the pool.
The Khaolak Merlin Resort runs from the beach up a little hill that is covered in a forest so thick that it seems to swallow both pools and buildings. To create a natural environment, Merlin has pushed its multiple pools right in among the trees – something that most hotels avoid due to the endless work of removing leaves.
The Resort also provides a tropical beautiful land for young children coming from cold climates. The most spectacular trees, however, are the towering trunks of banyan figs that loom over Merlin’s beachfront, shading both adults in sun lounges and children playing, while providing a striking reminder of the beauty of nature.
